*MBS = The minimum bore size the tool will enter
*MSD = The maximum shank the tool will clamp. The tool may be larger but the shank size can not exceed this number.
*MTC = The maximum length the tool can protrude and still allow the head to enter the minimum bore size. As the bore radius increases the maximum tool clearance will increase by an equal amount.

Notes:

M style milling heads are recommended for heavier duty milling and drilling applications. They incorporate two preloaded angular contact bearings on the front of the spindle for improved performance and durability in side load applications. D style drilling heads are smaller and may fit where M style heads will not. M style heads are the preferred choice where space permits. T style heads incorporate a miter gear set with a 2:1 ratio. This results in twice the torque at half the speed for tougher materials or when lower surface feet and higher torque are desired.
Taperlock and Eltool Collet spindles are proprietary spindles designed to minimize the profile of the angle heads.
